Wallpaper magazine features a story illustrated by Mikhael Subotzky’s photographs of Sumayya Vally, the head of the architecture practice Counterspace, in its May 2021 issue. Vally has led the South African company since 2015, and was tasked with the design of the latest incarnation of the Serpentine Pavillion in London’s Hyde Park.
