Cristina de Middel placed the accent on the horses whilst shooting the Dior Cruise 2019 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, in her adopted home of Mexico. In this shoot she was drawn to the sculptural physicality of the animals ridden by the escaramuzas, whose fearsomeness and style were key inspirations to the collection.
