Magnum Photos has partnered with Uniqlo for the annual initiative PEACE FOR ALL. Peace for all is a creative photography exhibition to tell a unique story.

The exhibition features a curated collection of striking, joyful, profound photographs from Cristina de Middel, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Olivia Arthur, who travelled to Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania to capture moments of PEACE FOR ALL-funded support activities from their own perspectives.

Cristina de Middel spent five days documenting the daily activities of students at a boarding school, supported by Plan International, in the Hà Giang Province of Vietnam. As part of the commission, De Middel held a photography workshop with the students, focusing on visual narration through images. Each student was given a selection of images to create collages and tell their own stories, hopes, and dreams for the future.

In support of families escaping the severe floods caused by ongoing heavy rains across the region, Lindokuhle Sobekwa documented the work of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, near Jijiga, Ethiopia. He spent four days in the Aw-Barre Refugee Camp, photographing the lives of four Somali refugee families, including their daily activities, their homes in the camp and the aid provided by UNHCR.

Olivia Arthur spent three days in Bucharest with Save the Children Romania at the Counseling Center for Ukrainian Children and Families — one of eight such centers across the country providing integration services to refugees from the war in Ukraine like counseling, child protection, education, mental health and psychosocial support activities.

Per each commission the photographers involved hold a photography workshops with the communities supported by the NGOs. The resulting artworks were incremented in the exhibition creating a dialogue between the photographers work and the communities voices.

Three images, one per each photographers, were selected as part of the new Peace for All t-shirt line whose profits from sales of PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts are donated to three international humanitarian organizations.
